Travelling with Kids on a long holiday/Vacation can be a bit of a trauma hopefully this will give you some insight if visiting any of these locations. For many years i have been making photographic journals of my holidays/vacations and short trips.

It wasn't until 2003 that i decided to record my journals digitally, so I decided to share my experiences and any advice i could share starting from our third visit to Florida in 2003. My original intention was to publish online for family and friends many who live in far flung places (hi to you all in Oz) but after tweaking some of the content by adding tips it seemed more appropriate to make this for all. 

Hopefully if you are making a trip to any of the places shown on the left and you have a family with children hopefully this will help you get an idea of what to expect.

I live in Luton 30 miles north of central London and work in West London, my camera travels wherever i go, to the annoyance of friends and family.

I like to thank Jake my 14 year old son for helping me put this site together, he contributed by remembering many moments that i had forgot and put together many of the pages. Also i would like to thank Sam my 9 year old for testing me and my wife to the limit on every trip, his little legs do take a pounding on some of these trips, his ideal holiday would be to sit on a beach or beside a pool, as would the rest of my family. Me, i would rather see the sights, my interest  of sitting on a beach last as long as the sandcastle they built on the waters edge.
